Do I need a downhill bike in the Whistler Bike Park?
It depends. If you want to ride hard and fast, we recommend a downhill bike. If you are a beginner and taking it easy, you may prefer a lighter full suspension all mountain trail bike.

Which trails should I ride if I have never been to the bike park before?
If you are a beginner rider start on green trails like “Ez Does It”! If you want to step it up from the green trails, B-Line is a great place to start.
If you have experience riding downhill bikes, our staff recommend starting on Whistler’s famous flow trails like Crank it Up and Blue Velvet.

What gear to you need to ride the bike park?
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Where should I ride outside of the bike park?
If you are looking to explore the Whistler on the Valley Trail, Lost Lake Park, Rainbow Park and Alpha Lake Park are some of our favorite spots. We have maps available in-store.
If you are looking for beginner or intermediate XC style trails, Lost Lake has some great blue and green trails that are very close to our store.
If you are a more experienced XC rider looking for longer rides (2hrs +) we suggest downloading the trail forks app. There are some world-class trails very nearby. Some of our favourites include Micro Climate, Dark Crystal, Howler, Pura Vida, and Out There.

How long is a full day rental?
A full day booking lasts from when you pick your bike up (we open at 9:30am) until 8pm when we close.

Can I keep my bike at my hotel/ AirBnb overnight on a multiday booking?
Unfortunately no, we do safety checks on all our bikes each evening and require all bikes back in store by 8pm at the end of each day.

Can I rent a chariot/ bike trailer?
Yes! We have trailers that attach to our valley trail bikes, and one chariot that also functions as a stroller.

Riding downhill for the first time? These are some of our tips:
Don’t sit on the seat! Stand with both feet level with each other.
Don’t ride alone – book a lesson or ride with an experienced person you trust.
Your hands may ache from holding the bars too tight! Gloves will help with this.
